B.A Business Economics is a three-year course. Business economics is a course in applied economics. Furthermore, in addition to academic training in marketing and communication, the students undergo corporate summer training for about eight weeks to better understand the business environment and real organizational problems.

Eligibility Criteria for B.A Business Economics
1. Candidates must have completed Class 12 from a recognised board in any discipline.
2. Candidates should have secured a minimum aggregate score of 45% or more in subjects.
3. They must have a minimum aggregate of 55% to qualify for the program.
Admission Process
1. Colleges publish notice of admission on their website from June when most Indian universities would have finished degree exams.
2. Candidate to apply for each college, as each college considers each mark the cut-off mark.
3. Some private colleges and deemed universities perform their counselling process by conducting their university-level entrance exams.
4. Some colleges require a minimum of 50% aggregate in the qualifying examination.
5. Candidates who qualify for the test are called for an interview before the final seat allotment.
Career after B.A Business Economics
Economists thus have a bright career in the relevant field. A well-trained business economist has very high demand in India as they possess good knowledge of capital budgeting and capital management. Business economics work in education, business, or government.
There is enough scope after doing this course. Candidates can work in materials production, development, and research in the industrial sector, or as materials experts in high-level consultancy and management positions.
After BA in Business economics, candidates can earn around INR 3.5 LPA initially, working as bankers. Teacher, auditor, professor, tele-caller, Consultant, Customer Service Associate, Personnel Manager, Assistant Professor, Medical Economics Manager, etc. Even in administration, business economists are hired for important positions that oversee economic policy-making for the larger interest of society.
